How many times can you break your foot before you finally go see a surgeon? By my count the number is around four re-breaks and it's time to visit a specialist. It had gotten so bad that I could only skate for 20-30 minute intervals, and just about everything active I enjoy was becoming almost unbearable.
Thanks to Dr. Thelanders keen eye, he caught what the previous surgeon I met with missed. Due to repeat breakage, I had developed bone spurs on several joints in my foot.
Dr. Thelander is a fairly young, personable, and a very qualified surgeon. He did a great job on my surgery and had excellent follow up post-treatment. His office is located in the the Centennial Medical Plaza just off Arapahoe and Parker.
